i watched this with the intention of having something easy and enjoyable to watch without my full attention and this definitely delivered on that front. i thought the story was overall solid (as someone who isn't a huge ghostbusters fan) in terms of build up. it did hit a bump around the time where the new ghostbusters met up with the original ghostbusters to defeat the big bad where it felt like the motivation was lacking. the firecatchers storyline also felt a bit out of place and i honestly think this would have been a solid movie without it.
